Rules of FAITH earning for MetaDJs
In this web3 music eco system, Meta DJs are as important as artists. They are the ones who contribute the most to artists around the world, they go out purchase music NFTs, appreciate them, curate them, and share them to the world. In other word, they are everything.
In order to encourage more Meta DJs to join and contribute, we design a DJ reward mechanism based on following
Meta DJ qualification : MetaBoom holders who've edited playlist and added at least one music NFT in their MetaBoom.
The interaction between Music Junkies and Meta DJs are the key criteria to calculate rewards.
Reward can be amplified by other factors such as rarity of MetaBoom or source of music NFTs.
When the Metaboom reaches the daily cap, it will no longer generate profits for the Junkie.
Here are some nitty-gritty of reward design mechanism for Meta DJs.
Behaviors that generate reward for Meta DJs are simple :
When someone stream your MetaBoom playlist
When someone share your MetaBoom playlist
Other events such as leaderboard race, or music show-off competition.
FAITH earned through behaviors:
Qualified Stream : Defined as when Music Junkies play your music for more than 30 secs. Every 30 secs play counts as one qualified stream.
FAITH reward for qualified Stream : Every effective stream gives out 3.23 FAITH, with a daily cap of 28,000 FAITH-Share daily earned.
Anti-cheating design :
To prevent bot or fake stream, every Music Junkie's daily effective streaming contribution to a single MetaBoom is capped.
Listeners role contribute very little to Meta DJs.
There will be a daily cap for how much FAITH can be earned via streaming the music, and it varies according to the rarity of Meta DJs' MetaBoom.
For Common : 600 FAITH x 1
For Rare : 600 FAITH x 1.5
For EPIC : 600 FAITH x 2
For Mythical : 600 FAITH x 2.5
For Mythical Theme : 600 FAITH x 3
Qualified Share : A qualified Share is defined as when Music Junkies share a MetaBoom via the share button to their social networks and is clicked through to their player page. Every Music Junkie can only contribute one share reward to one MetaBoom a day, however a new shareable click is generated the next day. Moreover, each share link will not be able to generate anymore share reward after 30 days or after 10 effective clickthrough.

Scenarios that multiply that reward for Meta DJs are:
The rarity level of your MetaBoom. The more rare your MetaBoom is, the more FAITH reward you can earn from Music Junkies' sharing.

For Rare : 600 FAITH x 1.5

The source of your music NFTs. If you add music NFTs you own directly from your wallet to your MetaBoom, instead of importing from Opensea link, you earn more FAITH. The reason being we want to encourage holders to collect music NFTs. More than that, if your music NFTs are minted from FANSI or other partnered music NFT platforms (for example the ones who do not have any copyrights disputes), you earn more. By doing so we can help diversify the source of music NFTs and give new platforms more opportunity to grow.
