Music is nothing if no one is appreciating it, singing along with it, and laugh or cry with it. Listeners are with no doubt the key role in this web3 music eco system.
In order to encourage more Music Junkies to join and contribute, we design a Junkie Reward Mechanism based on the following
Music Junkies qualification : Anyone who connects wallet to the eco system is qualified as Music Junkies. MetaBoom holders are automatically qualified as well without any extra efforts needed.
The interaction between Music Junkies and Meta DJs are the key criteria to calculate rewards.
Reward can be amplified by other factors such as rarity of MetaBoom or source of music NFTs a Music Junkie listen to.
When the Metaboom reaches the daily cap, it will no longer generate profits for the Junkie.
Here are some nitty-gritty of reward design mechanism for Music Junkies.
Behaviors that generate reward for Music Junkies are simple :
When Junkies play music from any MetaBoom
When Junkies share music from any MetaBoom
Other events such as leaderboard race, or daily tasks.
FAITH earned through behaviors:
Qualified Play : Defined as when Junkies play music from any MetaBoom for more than 30 secs. Every 30 secs play counts as one qualified Play.
FAITH reward for qualified Play : Every effective Play gives out 3.23 FAITH, with a daily cap of 9,300 FAITH-Share daily earned.
Anti-cheating design :
To prevent bot or fake play, every Music Junkie's daily effective play earned from a single MetaBoom is capped.
There will be a daily cap for how much FAITH can be earned via playing the music, and it varies according to the rarity of the specific MetaBoom one play from.
For Common : 600 FAITH x 1
For Rare : 600 FAITH x 1.5
For EPIC : 600 FAITH x 2
For Mythical : 600 FAITH x 2.5
For Mythical Theme : 600 FAITH x 3
Qualified Share : A qualified Share is defined as when Music Junkies share a MetaBoom via the share button to their social networks and is clicked through to that player page. Every Music Junkie can only contribute one share reward to one MetaBoom a day, however a new shareable click is generated the next day. Moreover, each share link will not be able to generate anymore share reward after 30 days or after 10 effective clickthrough.
FAITH reward for qualified Share : Every effective Share gives out 3.23 FAITH, with a daily cap of 9,300 FAITH-Stream daily earned.
The rarity level of the MetaBoom you are Sharing to. The more rare one's MetaBoom is, the more FAITH reward you can earn from Sharing to that MetaBoom.

For Rare : 600 FAITH x 1.5

Scenarios that multiply the reward for Music Junkies are:
The source of music NFTs in the MetaBoom one listen to. If you listen to the music NFT that is added directly from DJs' wallet to their MetaBoom, instead of importing from Opensea link, you earn more FAITH. The reason being the same with that in . More than that, if the music NFTs you listen to are minted from FANSI or other partnered music NFT platforms (for example the ones who do not have any copyrights disputes), you earn more. By doing so we can help diversify the source of music NFTs and give new platforms more opportunity to grow.
